Hello, friends. Thanks for visiting our website. This has been a memorable year in so many ways. For our family, it began with a joyous occasion: Andrew and Hannah’s wedding in January.

Hannah’s Family A happy occasion!
We celebrated to our hearts’ content, unaware of the approach of COVID-19. Grandma Dorothy had no idea that her homeward journey would be delayed a full year. She stopped off to visit her daughter Cristi and became marooned in California when COVID hit. Good thing Grandma is such a helper. Cristi’s family loves having her with them. Their gardens have never looked so good!
Donald and Connie made it home safely and have maintained our involvement in church and community, but some of the things we used to do in person are now conducted remotely, or by after-hours visits to an empty building. Connie keeps fit by working out with Bethany via Zoom conference. We’re grateful for technology that keeps us connected to loved ones far away. Our kids and grandkids are healthy and thriving.
Andrew and Hannah have been gifted with lots of newlywed bonding time while working from home at their apartment in San Francisco and enjoying road trips and outdoor recreation.
Hannah and Andrew Loving life together.
Bethany is living in D.C., where she paints oil landscapes and teaches high school drawing. During the quarantine, she took care of her niece and nephew during the day while pursuing her art career. It’s been quite an adventure, which she describes amusingly in her blog:
Painting with Arthur and Alice Bethany enjoying the rain.
Bethany is also pursuing further studies in clay modeling and stone carving, and she has developed some innovative marketing techniques for selling her paintings on the sidewalk.
Good sales, but no dignity
Timothy and Amanda have done their best to keep the kids constructively occupied during COVID restrictions. Their summer was filled with outdoor adventures.
Arthur and Alice at the pumpkin patch. Boating with Daddy.
Sweater for two! Daddy is a good lift.
Alice and Arthur are polishing up their Big Brother and Big Sister skills, getting ready to welcome a new little sibling in March.

We have much to be thankful for, and we pray that the Good Lord will bless you and your loved ones with much happiness in 2021.
