We spent Donald's birthday weekend visiting Donald's brother Bruce and sister-in-law Marcille at their cabin in northern Michigan, where they fed us like royalty. Also present were Donald's sister Anne and her husband Ralph who drove from New York to meet in the middle. No vacation would be complete without a work project, so the men poured cement on the path in the woods. We also enjoyed canoing, kayaking, and a sunset cruise on the pontoon boat. AND we attended the famous Lovell's Bridge Walk. The tranquility of the forest was occasionally broken by thunderous booming sounds from the nearby National Guard training camp, where Bruce has served for many years.
